A Perspective Inside-out: Filming the Lens

For this project, I made a video of myself doing various activities throughout the day. Instead of filming the activity I am doing, I filmed what my eyes are doing. Instead of capturing what I am doing in life, I capture the lens through which I view life. I show my day starting with me opening my eyes and ending with me closing them. In between, I am on a walk, reading, making coffee, writing an essay, having a conversation, and screen printing. I added a film projector noise to the video to further the point of capturing scenes of my life like a movie, but from a different perspective.

This filming process was fun, and I enjoyed it. Although out of my comfort zone, I enjoyed the prompt and the creative process to address the prompt.
